Yes, Volibris Tablet commonly causes an increase in liver enzymes. It may rarely cause liver injury and inflammation of the liver because of the body’s own defences (autoimmune hepatitis). Volibris Tablet is used to treat pulmonary hypertension in adults. Pulmonary hypertension is a condition wherein there is increased blood pressure in the pulmonary arteries (blood vessels that carry blood from heart to lungs). Volibris Tablet lowers the blood pressure by relaxing the pulmonary arteries, making it easier for the heart to pump blood through them.
Q. What are the symptoms of overdose of Volibris Tablet?
Taking more than the recommended dose of Volibris Tablet may cause headache, flushing, dizziness, or nausea. It may cause low blood pressure which may further lead to lightheadedness. Contact your doctor immediately or seek emergency medical services in a nearby hospital if you take more than the recommended doses of this medicine.
