Sucralfate + Silver Sulfadiazine + Chlorhexidine Gluconate is a combination of three medicines: Sucralfate + Silver Sulfadiazine + Chlorhexidine Gluconate1, Sucralfate + Silver Sulfadiazine + Chlorhexidine Gluconate2 and Sucralfate + Silver Sulfadiazine + Chlorhexidine Gluconate3. Sucralfate + Silver Sulfadiazine + Chlorhexidine Gluconate1 is an anti-ulcerant which forms a coating over the affected skin surface. This creates a physical barrier that protects the skin from further injury, allowing it to heal. Sucralfate + Silver Sulfadiazine + Chlorhexidine Gluconate2 is an antibiotic. It stops bacteria from producing folic acid, a vitamin required for bacterial multiplication. Sucralfate + Silver Sulfadiazine + Chlorhexidine Gluconate3 is an antiseptic and disinfectant which effectively cleans out cuts, wounds and burns to prevent infection.
