Side Effects of Romacid-MPS are Chalky taste, Fecal impaction (hardened stool that stays stuck in the rectum or lower colon), Rebound hyperacidity, Decreased phosphate level in blood, Increased magnesium level in blood, Milk-alkali syndrome, Softening of bones, Aluminum intoxication, Muscle weakness, Encephalopathy, Hypersensitivity.

How Romacid-MPS Products work

Domperidone + Magaldrate + Simethicone is a combination of three medicines: Domperidone, magaldrate and simethicone. Domperidone is a prokinetic which works on the region in the brain that controls vomiting. It also acts on the upper digestive tract to increase the movement of the stomach and intestines, allowing food to move more easily through the stomach. Magaldrate is an inorganic salt that neutralises the excess acid in stomach. Simethicone is an antifoaming medicine which disintegrates gas bubbles and allows easy passage of gas.
