Chloramphenicol + Prednisolone + Acetic acid + Benzocaine2 is a steroid which works by blocking the production of certain chemical messengers in the body that cause inflammation (redness and swelling) and allergies. Chloramphenicol + Prednisolone + Acetic acid + Benzocaine3 belongs to the class of medications called antibacterial and antifungal agents. It works by maintaining the pH thereby preventing the growth of bacteria and fungi. Chloramphenicol + Prednisolone + Acetic acid + Benzocaine4 works by blocking pain signals from the peripheral nerves to brain which decreases the sensation of pain. Thus, Chloramphenicol + Prednisolone + Acetic acid + Benzocaine treats ear infections.
