How NP Cold Products work

Paracetamol + Phenylpropanolamine + Chlorpheniramine Maleate is a combination of three medicines: Paracetamol + Phenylpropanolamine + Chlorpheniramine Maleate1, Paracetamol + Phenylpropanolamine + Chlorpheniramine Maleate2 and Paracetamol + Phenylpropanolamine + Chlorpheniramine Maleate3 which relieve cold symptoms. Paracetamol + Phenylpropanolamine + Chlorpheniramine Maleate1 is an analgesic (pain reliever) and antipyretic (fever reducer). It blocks the release of certain chemical messengers in the brain that cause pain and fever. Paracetamol + Phenylpropanolamine + Chlorpheniramine Maleate2 is a decongestant which narrows the small blood vessels providing relief from congestion or stuffiness in the nose. Paracetamol + Phenylpropanolamine + Chlorpheniramine Maleate3 is an antiallergic which relieves allergy symptoms like runny nose, watery eyes and sneezing.
