How Excodin Products work

Chlorpheniramine Maleate + Codeine + Sodium Citrate + Menthol is a combination of four medicines: Chlorpheniramine Maleate + Codeine + Sodium Citrate + Menthol1, Chlorpheniramine Maleate + Codeine + Sodium Citrate + Menthol2, Chlorpheniramine Maleate + Codeine + Sodium Citrate + Menthol3 and Chlorpheniramine Maleate + Codeine + Sodium Citrate + Menthol4. Chlorpheniramine Maleate + Codeine + Sodium Citrate + Menthol1 is an antiallergic which relieves allergy symptoms like runny nose, watery eyes and sneezing. Chlorpheniramine Maleate + Codeine + Sodium Citrate + Menthol2 is a cough suppressant that relieves cough by reducing the activity of cough centre in the brain. Chlorpheniramine Maleate + Codeine + Sodium Citrate + Menthol3 is a mucolytic which thins and loosens mucus (phlegm), making it easier to cough out. Chlorpheniramine Maleate + Codeine + Sodium Citrate + Menthol4 produces a cooling sensation and relieves minor throat irritation.
