Side Effects of Cytarabine are Skin ulcer, Low blood platelets, Sepsis, Vomiting, Nausea, Infection, Pneumonia, Anal ulcers, Hair loss, Fever, Abnormal liver function, Stomatitis (Inflammation of the mouth), Diarrhea, Bone marrow failure, Megaloblastic anemia, Decreased white blood cell count (lymphocytes), Decreased reticulocyte, Bone marrow disorder, Cytarabine syndrome, Corneal disorders, Necrotizing enterocolitis, Cerebral disorder, Cerebellar disorder, Acute respiratory distress syndrome, Skin exfoliation.

Side Effects of Cytarabine are Bleeding disorder, Pericarditis, Conjunctivitis, Bowel necrosis, Esophagitis, Injection site reaction, Jaundice, Acute pancreatitis (inflammation of pancreas), Anaphylactic reaction, Neurotoxicity, Neuritis, Renal impairment, Oropharyngeal pain, Palmar-plantar erythrodysesthesia syndrome, Thrombophlebitis, Cardiomyopathy (heart muscle disease), Gastrointestinal necrosis, Peripheral neuropathy (tingling and numbness of feet and hand), Peripheral sensory neuropathy, Pneumatosis intestinalis, Liver abscess, Increased bilirubin in the blood, Coma, Personality changes.
