Q. Can Cortiler Cream be used on the face?
No, Cortiler Cream should not be used on the face. In addition to this, Cortiler Cream should not be used on the axillae (armpits), groin and if there is atrophy (wasting away of tissues) at the treatment site. In certain circumstances, it can be exceptionally considered to be used by the doctors. It should be used only after consultation with your physician and if possible, the application on the face should be limited to a maximum of 5 days.

Cortiler Cream is not an antimicrobial or antifungal agent. It is a steroid medication. It should not be used in infections as being a corticosteroid it suppresses the immune system and increases the risk of infections. Bacterial infections are prone to worsen if the infection is covered with a dressing after using Cortiler Cream. In case the inflammatory lesions get infected or there is any spread of infection, consult your doctor immediately. The doctor will withdraw the use of Cortiler Cream and provide appropriate antimicrobial therapy.
Q. How to use Cortiler Cream?
Before using Cortiler Cream, clean and dry the affected area. Gently and thoroughly massage it into the skin. Be careful not to get the medication in your eyes or mouth. If Cortiler Cream gets in your eyes accidentally, wash with plenty of water and call your doctor if your eyes are irritated.
Q. Can I stop taking Cortiler Cream when my symptoms are relieved?
No, do not stop taking Cortiler Cream and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. Your symptoms may improve before your treatment is complete. Stopping Cortiler Cream before your treatment is completed can bring back your symptoms of skin.

Cortiler Cream should not be used on the face. Do not use the medication for longer periods of time than you have been advised. Do not apply a bandage or dressing to the area being treated, as this will increase absorption of the preparation and increase the risk of side-effects.
