How Cifbax-B Products work

Ciprofloxacin + Betamethasone + Phenyl Mercuric Nitrate is a combination of two medicines: Ciprofloxacin + Betamethasone + Phenyl Mercuric Nitrate1 and Ciprofloxacin + Betamethasone + Phenyl Mercuric Nitrate2. Ciprofloxacin + Betamethasone + Phenyl Mercuric Nitrate1 is an antibiotic. It kills bacteria by preventing them from reproducing and repairing themselves. Ciprofloxacin + Betamethasone + Phenyl Mercuric Nitrate2 is a steroid medicine. It blocks the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that make the eye red, swollen and itchy.
