Cartinex Tablet ER may also cause kidney failure in patients who already have kidney problems. Therefore, your doctor may need to do tests to check how your kidneys are working.

Urine discoloration could be because of Cartinex Tablet ER. You need not worry if you do not have any other symptoms. However, if it still bothers you, you can talk to your doctor who will advise you further.

Excess of Cartinex Tablet ER can cause nausea, vomiting, lightheadedness, double vision, tiredness, severe tremor, confusion, hallucinations, difficulty in speaking and walking and you can even faint. If you have taken an excess of Cartinex Tablet ER by mistake, call your doctor right away or seek emergency medical care in a nearby hospital.

Yes, it is safe to take the Cartinex Tablet ER and Metoprolol together. Cartinex Tablet ER has minimal effect on blood pressure in patients with angina.

If you are taking metformin along with Cartinex Tablet ER, you have to be careful since Cartinex Tablet ER may increase the levels of metformin in the body which can lead to metformin toxicity. Talk to your doctor who will modify the dose of metformin.

It is recommended not to take simvastatin and Cartinex Tablet ER together because it may cause simvastatin toxicity which may lead to symptoms like muscle weakness and soreness, fatigue, decreased urination, etc. Let your doctor know that you are already taking simvastatin. If it is still necessary to take, then take it exactly as advised by the doctor.
