How Atrodex-C Products work

Atropine + Chloramphenicol + Dexamethasone is a combination of three medicines: Atropine + Chloramphenicol + Dexamethasone1, Atropine + Chloramphenicol + Dexamethasone2 and Atropine + Chloramphenicol + Dexamethasone3. Atropine + Chloramphenicol + Dexamethasone1 is an anticholinergic medicine which works by making the pupil of your eye larger and relax the muscles in your eye. Atropine + Chloramphenicol + Dexamethasone2 is an antibiotic which stops bacterial growth by preventing synthesis of essential proteins required by bacteria to carry out vital functions. Atropine + Chloramphenicol + Dexamethasone3 is a steroid medicine. It blocks the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that make the eye red, swollen and itchy.
