Nidcal CL Tablet is a combination medicine used in the treatment of osteoporosis. It prevents bone loss and makes the bones stronger. This way it helps in preventing bone fractures.
Nidcal CL Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Nidcal CL Tablet1, Nidcal CL Tablet2, Nidcal CL Tablet3 and Nidcal CL Tablet4 which treat osteoporosis.

In Osteoporosis

Fractures may be painful and restrict a person’s ability to carry out their normal daily tasks. Nidcal CL Tablet reduces the risk of a fracture occurring in osteoporosis. It also helps in the growth and development of bones as well as maintain strong bones. Along with medicines, eat a balanced diet rich in calcium and vitamin D like dairy products, green leafy vegetables etc.

CAUTION
Nidcal CL Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Nidcal CL Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
No dose adjustment is recommended in patients with mild to moderate kidney disease. However, use of Nidcal CL Tablet is not advised in severe kidney disease patients.

Liver

What if you forget to take Nidcal CL Tablet?
If you miss a dose of Nidcal CL Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

- Drink plenty of water while taking this medicine.
- For at least 30 minutes after taking Nidcal CL Tablet:
- Do not lie down or recline.
- Do not take any other medicine including vitamins, calcium, iron, antacids, or laxatives.
- Along with taking Nidcal CL Tablet, maintain a healthy lifestyle, take a balanced diet, exercise (regular weight-bearing exercise) with your doctor's advise and take proper measures to reduce the risk of falls.
- Let your doctor know if you’re taking an iron supplement, as the absorption rate might be affected.
- Inform your doctor if you have kidney problems, or if you have ever had kidney stones.
