Gemcal -Kit is a combination medicine used in the treatment of osteoporosis. It prevents bone loss and makes the bones stronger. This way it helps in preventing bone fractures.
Gemcal -Kit is a combination of two medicines: Gemcal -Kit1, Gemcal -Kit2, Gemcal -Kit3 and Gemcal -Kit4 which treat osteoporosis.

In Osteoporosis
Osteoporosis is a common condition that causes bones to become fragile and brittle so that they break (fracture) more easily. Fractures may be painful and restrict a person’s ability to carry out their normal daily tasks. Gemcal -Kit reduces the risk of a fracture occurring in osteoporosis. It also helps in the growth and development of bones as well as maintain strong bones. Along with medicines, eat a balanced diet rich in calcium and vitamin D like dairy products, green leafy vegetables etc.

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them

Gemcal -Kit should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Gemcal -Kit may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
No dose adjustment is recommended in patients with mild to moderate kidney disease. However, use of Gemcal -Kit is not advised in severe kidney disease patients.

Liver

What if you forget to take Gemcal Tablet?
If you miss a dose of Gemcal -Kit, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

- Do not lie down or recline.
- Do not take any other medicine including vitamins, calcium, iron, antacids, or laxatives.
