Met-Pco Care Tablet is a combination of medicines used in the treatment of polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS). It regulates ovulation and menstrual cycles (periods) in PCOS. It enhances the body's response to insulin, and maintains hormonal balance. This improves your overall health.

Met-Pco Care Tablet is a combination of five medicines: Met-Pco Care Tablet1, Met-Pco Care Tablet2, Met-Pco Care Tablet3, Met-Pco Care Tablet4 and Met-Pco Care Tablet5 which treat skin infections.

In Polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS)

Women with Polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) have hormonal imbalance that is responsible for irregular menstrual cycles (periods), excessive hair growth and acne. Met-Pco Care Tablet is a combination medicine that helps in regulating hormonal imbalance as well as periods in females. It helps the body to utilise the hormone insulin and also regulates menstrual cycles. Take it as prescribed by the doctor. Do not skip any doses and follow your doctor’s instructions carefully to get maximum benefit.

Side effects of Met-Pco Care Tablet

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them

How to use Met-Pco Care Tablet

Pregnancy

Met-Pco Care Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Please consult your doctor.
Breast feeding
CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR
Information regarding the use of Met-Pco Care Tablet during breastfeeding is not available. Please consult your doctor.
Driving
CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR
It is not known whether Met-Pco Care Tablet alters the ability to drive. Do not drive if you experience any symptoms that affect your ability to concentrate and react.
Kidney
CAUTION
Met-Pco Care Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Met-Pco Care Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Use of Met-Pco Care Tablet is, however, not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease. Regular monitoring of kidney function test is advisable while you are taking this medicine.
Liver
CAUTION
Met-Pco Care Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Met-Pco Care Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Met-Pco Care Tablet is generally started with low dose in patients with mild to moderate liver disease and its use is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease.

What if you forget to take Met-Pco Care Tablet?

If you miss a dose of Met-Pco Care Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
