Livopill Tablet is a combination medicine used in the treatment of liver disease. It is the prescription medicine works by improving the functioning of the liver.

Livopill Tablet is taken in a dose and duration as advised by the doctor. The dose you are given will depend on your condition and how you respond to the medicine. You should keep taking this medicine for as long as your doctor recommends. If you stop treatment too early your symptoms may come back and your condition may worsen. Let your healthcare team know about all other medications you are taking as some may affect, or be affected by this medicine.

How to use Livopill Tablet

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Livopill Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

How Livopill Tablet works

Livopill Tablet is a combination of three medicines. Metadoxine is an antioxidant. It works by protecting the liver from harmful chemical substances (free radicals). It also works by increasing alcohol elimination from the blood and tissues, thus preventing liver damage. Silymarin is an active principle obtained from milk thistle seed (Silybum marianum). It might protect liver cells from toxic chemicals and drugs. It also seems to have antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects. L-Ornithine L-Aspartate is a combination of two amino acids that work by protecting the liver from harmful chemical substances (free radicals), thus preventing liver damage.
