This will improve the appearance of your skin and you may find that your mood and self-confidence improve as well. It rarely has any serious side effects and you may only need to take it on days you have symptoms. Moreover, L-Cet Syrup may make you feel less sleepy as compared to other antihistamine medicines. If you are taking it to prevent getting symptoms you should use it regularly to get the most benefit.

L-Cet Syrup is safe to use in patients with liver disease. No dose adjustment of L-Cet Syrup is recommended.
However, dose adjustments may be required in severe liver disease. Consult your doctor before giving Levocetirizine to your child in case of severe liver disease.

What if I forget to give L-Cet Syrup to my child?

Do not panic. Unless your child’s doctor has advised a specific regime for your child, administer the missed dose as soon as you remember. Skip the missed dose if it is almost time for the next dose. Do not give a double dose to catch up on any missed dose, follow the prescribed dosing schedule strictly.

My child is restless and unable to sleep properly at night. Can I give L-Cet Syrup?

No, although this medicine causes drowsiness as a side effect, it should not be given to induce sleep in children. Consult your child’s doctor if your child has trouble sleeping as it could be due to some other underlying condition.

Can other medicines be given at the same time as L-Cet Syrup?
