Cetmet Cold Tablet belongs to a group of medicines called antihistamines. It is used to treat various allergic conditions such as hay fever, conjunctivitis and some skin reactions, and reactions to bites and stings. It relieves watery eyes, runny nose, sneezing, and itching.

Cetmet Cold Tablet is used in the treatment of allergic disorders.

Cetmet Cold Tablet provides relief from symptoms such as blocked or runny nose, sneezing, and itchy or watery eyes. This will make it easier for you to go about your daily activities. It can also give relief from allergic reactions after insect bites and symptoms of hives and eczema such as rash, swelling, itching, and irritation. This will improve the appearance of your skin and you may find that your mood and self-confidence improve as well. It rarely has any serious side effects and you may only need to take it on days you have symptoms. If you are taking it to prevent getting symptoms you should use it regularly to get the most benefit.

Cetmet Cold Tablet is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby.
Larger doses or prolonged use of Cetmet Cold Tablet may cause sleepiness and other effects in the baby.
Driving

Cetmet Cold Tablet does not usually affect your ability to drive.
Kidney
CAUTION
Cetmet Cold Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Cetmet Cold Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
However, it is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease. It may cause excessive sleepiness in patients with end-stage kidney disease.
Liver
SAFE IF PRESCRIBED
Cetmet Cold Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with liver disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Cetmet Cold Tablet may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.

What if you forget to take Cetmet Cold Tablet?

If you miss a dose of Cetmet Cold Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

Ive got tested for hiv after 4 months of possible exposure (not sure if partner was +ve and sex was with condom) and results were negative and its been 6 months till date after the possible exposure now i was suffering from blocked nose wnd difficulty in breathing so i went to a chest specialist and was given total ige" test and the report came +ve with very highly elevated ige levels about 2000 ku/l is there anything to worry and is there any relation between total ige levels and hiv im very stressed once again please help."

Q. Can I take Cetmet Cold Tablet and Fexofenadine together?

Sometimes the doctor may advise you to take two different antihistamines together if you are being treated for a severe itchy rash. If you are taking Cetmet Cold Tablet during the daytime, your doctor may prescribe another antihistamine for the night which causes sleepiness, especially if the itch makes it difficult for you to sleep. Do not take two antihistamines together unless recommended by your doctor.
