Andrology levels test detects common hormonal disorders in men. It evaluates diseases & disorders that occurs in men due to abnormal levels of certain hormones.

FSH-LH includes tests: FSH (Follicle stimulating hormone), LH (Luteinising hormone), The FSH test evaluates the levels of Follicle Stimulating Hormone in blood. The LH test detects the levels of luteinising hormone in the blood. This test is done to evaluate:
-To evaluate infertility issues in females
-To evaluate early or delayed sexual maturation (puberty) in children
-To evaluate low sperm count in men
-To assess hypogonadism or gonadal failure in men
-To check testicular dysfunction or erection failure in men
-To investigate the cause of loss of sex drive (libido) in both men and women
Testosterone total & free test detects the levels of testosterone in males and females. In males, it is done to diagnose the cause of conditions like erectile dysfunction or infertility. In females, it is done to diagnose the cause of conditions like virilization (females develop masculine physical features). Also, in females, it is done to diagnose the cause of infertility or polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). In children, it is done to find out the reason for ambiguous genitalia (a condition in which the infant's genitals are not clearly male or female) and for delayed or early puberty.
