Zeflurin Plus 40mg/10mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines that helps in preventing migraine. This medicine is not used for treatment of acute migraine attack.

Zeflurin Plus 40mg/10mg Tablet is a combination of beta blocker- non selective and calcium channel blocker- migraine prevention

By preventing and reducing the frequency migraine attacks, the medicine can help you carry out your daily activities and improve your quality of life.

I am facing issue of headache from last 3-4 years.i have consulted allopathy and they have given me sibelum 10 for migrane and asked to take metopar(paracetamol) when ever pain is too much.i am nit taking sibelum now but i am taking metopar when ever required.so i want a homeopathy consultatation if it can be cured by homeopathy or the level of headache can be lowered. Currently i face headache once in a week and i had to take metopar. Kindly suggest. My weight 80 kg And i am taking some neuro medicines ( stalopam 10, amitone 10) I also have cholesterol and taking (atorec 20)

Q. In which conditions is the use of Zeflurin Plus 40mg/10mg Tablet contraindicated?

Use of Zeflurin Plus 40mg/10mg Tablet is considered to be harmful for patients with allergy to any of the ingredients or excipients of this medicine. This medicine contains propranolol, so its use should be avoided in patients with asthma, slow heart rate, abnormal heart rhythms, or heart conditions like AV block or sick sinus syndrome. Since this medicine also contains flunarizine, the use of this medicine should be avoided in patients with the history of depression or Parkinson's disease.

Q. What are the instructions for the storage and disposal of Zeflurin Plus 40mg/10mg Tablet?

Keep Zeflurin Plus 40mg/10mg Tablet in the container or the pack it came in, tightly closed. Store it according to the instructions mentioned on the pack or label. Dispose of the unused medicine. Make sure it is not consumed by pets, children and other people.

Q. Can I stop taking Zeflurin Plus 40mg/10mg Tablet when my symptoms are improved?

Zeflurin Plus 40mg/10mg Tablet is given as a prophylactic treatment for the prevention of migraine headaches. Do not stop taking this medicine until advised by your doctor as it may cause your migraine episodes to return. This medicine contains propranolol and a sudden withdrawal of propranolol may cause sweating, shaking, irregular or fast heartbeat, worsening of underlying angina or heart attack. You must take Zeflurin Plus 40mg/10mg Tablet exactly as advised by your doctor.

Q. Can Zeflurin Plus 40mg/10mg Tablet be used for the treatment of a migraine headache?

No, Zeflurin Plus 40mg/10mg Tablet does not help in relieving a migraine headache that has already started. It can only be used for preventing any new episode of migraine headaches.
