How Voglibose + Repaglinide + Metformin works
Voglibose + Repaglinide + Metformin is a combination of three antidiabetic medicines: Voglibose , Repaglinide and Metformin. Voglibose suppresses the intestinal enzymes that cause breakdown of complex sugars into simple sugars such as glucose, thereby delaying glucose absorption. Repaglinide increases the amount of insulin (glucose lowering hormone) released from the pancreas during meals. Together, they prevent blood sugar from rising very high after meals. Metformin works by lowering glucose production in the liver, delaying glucose absorption from intestines and increasing the body's sensitivity to insulin.
