Naphazoline + Hydroxypropylmethylcellulose + Chlorpheniramine Maleate + Boric Acid is a combination of four medicines. Naphazoline is a decongestant that works by narrowing the blood vessels in the eye. Hydroxypropylmethylcellulose is a lubricant. It works similar to natural tears and provides temporary relief from burning, also moisten the eyes. Chlorpheniramine Maleate is an antiallergic. It blocks the chemical messenger which causes itching and other allergic symptoms. Boric Acid has antibiotic properties that kill infection-causing microorganisms. It also relieves eye irritation. In this way, it treats allergic eye disease.
