Atorvastatin + Fenofibrate + Folic Acid is a combination of two lipid-lowering medicines (Atorvastatin , Fenofibrate ) and a vitamin ( Folic Acid). Atorvastatin prevents your body from making "bad" cholesterol (LDL) while Fenofibrate works by lowering the levels of triglycerides in your blood. Additionally, they both raise the levels of “good” cholesterol (HDL). Folic Acid reduces the levels of a harmful substance (homocysteine), thereby decreasing cholesterol synthesis.
