The most common symptoms are breathlessness, tiredness, and swelling in your legs, ankles, abdomen, and other parts of your body. Zayo 50 Tablet is a combination of two medicine namely valsartan and sacubitril. Both of these medicines work in different ways to lower blood pressure. This makes it easier for your heart to pump blood around your body and is therefore an effective treatment for heart failure.
This medicine will help relieve your symptoms, making you feel better and more energetic. You should make appropriate lifestyle changes (such as eating healthily and keeping active) to help this medicine be effective. Take it regularly and keep taking it even if you feel better.

What if you forget to take Zayo Tablet?
If you miss a dose of Zayo 50 Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

- You have been prescribed Zayo 50 Tablet for the treatment of of long-lasting (chronic) heart failure.
- You should continue to stay active (light walking, stretching) and eat a healthy, low sodium diet along with taking this medication.
- To reduce the chances of feeling dizzy, rise slowly if you have been sitting or lying down.
- It may cause the level of potassium in your blood to go up. Avoid taking potassium supplements and potassium-rich foods such as banana and broccoli.
- Inform your doctor if you have a history of liver or kidney diseases.
- Do not take Zayo 50 Tablet if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Who should avoid taking Zayo 50 Tablet?
Patients who are allergic to any of its components should avoid Zayo 50 Tablet. Also, those who are allergic to the use of ACE inhibitors or ARBs should avoid using this medicine. It should not be used along with other antihypertensive medicines like ACE inhibitors or ARBs. Do not take it for at least 36 hours before or after you take an ACE inhibitor medicine. If you are not sure, consult your doctor.
What should I tell my doctor before taking Zayo 50 Tablet?
Tell your doctor about all of your medical conditions, including liver or kidney disease, history of facial swelling (angioedema). Inform him if you are pregnant or are breastfeeding. Also, let your doctor know about all medicines you are taking, especially potassium supplements or its medicine salt, painkillers, blood pressure or heart failure medicines (such as ACE inhibitor, ARBs or Aliskiren).
Can I use Zayo 50 Tablet in pregnancy?
No, Zayo 50 Tablet should be avoided in pregnancy. Its use can cause injury or even endanger the life of the baby. If you become pregnant while using Zayo 50 Tablet, stop using it and contact your doctor immediately.
How would I know if I have high potassium levels?
Your doctor will check your blood potassium levels periodically to detect high potassium levels (hyperkalemia). Make sure that you do not miss any scheduled appointments with the doctor.
