Hypertension is clinically high blood pressure. Persistent high arterial blood pressure above 120/80 mm HG is termed as pre-hypertension or hypertension, but the point to be emphasized is that this rise in blood pressure is persistent. Transient increase in BP occurs in stress and anxiety and needs to be treated accordingly.

I was diagnosed by Typhoid (continues fever around 100-101 F, widal test positive, WBC above normal). It has been 3 weeks it started and trying to describe a medical history below in consultation with Dr. I have taken following medicines. * Ceftum 500 (7*2) * Becelac PB * Calpol 650 I had developed diarrhea and initial 2 days antibiotic didn't respond much, so PB was started and it helped. After this course, fever was still coming but going down with Paracetamol, then following reports were done * CBC - normal * Blood Culture - sterile * Stool R/E - Mucus++ - Stomach Infection persists Then took Omni-O (3*2) with Becelac PB After this fever is still coming 100.5 F in day and goes away in night with perspiration Did few more tesrs * Chest X-ray - Normal * Ultrasound - Normal After a week of normal reports also, still getting fever till 100.5 after noon, and goes away in night with perspiration. Lot of body, mainly joint, pain and weakness is developed. Got following reports done today * Malaria rapid diagnostic (card) test - Negative * Widal - Positive. S.
