Introduction of Xeronac-DV Tablet

Xeronac-DV Tablet is a combination medicine used in the treatment of abdominal pain. It works effectively to reduce abdominal pain, bloating, discomfort and cramps by relaxing the muscles of the stomach and gut. It also blocks certain chemical messengers that cause pain and discomfort.

Xeronac-DV Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Xeronac-DV Tablet1 and Xeronac-DV Tablet2.

In Treatment of Abdominal pain

Xeronac-DV Tablet effectively relieves sudden muscle spasms or contractions in the stomach and intestine (gut), thereby relaxing the muscles and improving movement of food. It also blocks chemical messengers in the brain that are responsible for pain sensation. This helps to treat abdominal pain (or stomach pain) as well as cramps, bloating and discomfort. Xeronac-DV Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Xeronac-DV Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Use of Xeronac-DV Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease. Regular monitoring of liver function tests is advisable while the patient is taking this medicine.

What if you forget to take Xeronac-DV Tablet?

If you miss a dose of Xeronac-DV Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

Yes, the use of Xeronac-DV Tablet can cause dry mouth. If you experience dry mouth, drink plenty of water. Take regular sips during the day and keep some water by your bed at night. You may use lip balm if your lips are also dry. Try to avoid foods that are acidic (like lemons), spicy and salty.
