Use of painkillers lowers the levels of prostaglandins in the body leading to kidney damage on long-term use. Use of painkillers is not recommended to patients with underlying kidney disease.

Unitryps D 50mg/325mg Tablet contains Paracetamol. This medicine is known to cause harm to the liver especially in the doses above the recommended level. Use of this medicine should preferably be avoided in patients with the underlying liver disease. Contact your doctor immediately if you notice any early signs and symptoms of liver damage.
