It is likely that you will take this medicine for at least six months but possibly much longer. It needs to be taken regularly to work effectively. How to use Trivon Tablet
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Trivon Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
How Trivon Tablet works
Trivon Tablet is an antidepressant. Low levels of monoamines (chemical messenger) in the brain cause depression. Trivon Tablet increases the amount of monoamines by decreasing the activity of the enzyme (monoamine oxidase) that inhibits monoamines. This how it works to treat depression.
