Tresnil Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Tresnil Tablet may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.
Liver
CAUTION
Tresnil Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Tresnil Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.

What if you forget to take Tresnil Tablet?
If you miss a dose of Tresnil Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

What are the instructions for the storage and disposal of Tresnil Tablet?

In which conditions is the use of Tresnil Tablet contraindicated?
The use of Tresnil Tablet is considered to be harmful for patients with known allergy to alprazolam or melatonin. Its use should also be avoided in patients with myasthenia gravis, any breathing difficulties or chest diseases, liver diseases and sleep apnea.
Can the use of Tresnil Tablet cause dependence?
Tresnil Tablet contains alprazolam which can make you dependent on the medicine. Dependence can lead to withdrawal symptoms when you stop the treatment abruptly. This mainly happens if you have been taking high doses or have been using it for a very long time. Withdrawal symptoms can include a headache, muscle pain, anxiety, restlessness, confusion, mood changes, difficulty in sleeping, irritability, nausea, vomiting, stomach upset and many others.
