This makes it less likely that you will suffer the symptoms and make them milder if you do have them. It is usually for long-term treatment and should be taken regularly until the dose is completed.

What is the dose of Toxur 40 Tablet?
The usual adult dosage of Toxur 40 Tablet is 20 mg/dose orally given twice daily in the morning and evening. Thereafter, the dosage should be gradually increased, as needed, while monitoring blood uric acid levels. The usual maintenance dosage should be 60 mg/dose twice daily. The dose may be adjusted based on the patient’s condition, up to 80 mg/dose twice daily.
Can a patient with kidney disease take Toxur 40 Tablet?
Patients with kidney disease should be given Toxur 40 Tablet with caution due to the higher risk of side effects in these patients.
What is the most important precaution to be kept in mind while taking Toxur 40 Tablet?
The dose of Toxur 40 Tablet should be increased gradually, i.e., starting dose should be 20 mg/dose twice daily, and the dose should be increased gradually, for example, to 40 mg/dose twice daily at or after Week 2, and then to 60 mg/dose twice daily at or after Week 6. The patient should be adequately monitored after the dose increase.
