How Tiskytas Syrup works
Tiskytas Syrup is a combination of two medicines: Promethazine and Pholcodine, which together relieve dry cough. Promethazine is an antiallergic. It blocks the action of a chemical messenger (histamine) which is responsible to trigger cough due to allergy. Pholcodine is a cough suppressant. It suppresses cough by reducing the activity of the cough center in the brain.

What if I forget to give Tiskytas Syrup to my child?
Do not panic. If you miss a dose of Tiskytas Syrup, give it as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose. In case of any confusion, do consult your child’s doctor.
