Telma-MCT 50/12.5 Tablet ER relaxes the blood vessels so that blood can flow more easily around your body. It also increases urine output. This lowers your blood pressure and reduces your risk of having a stroke, a heart attack, or kidney problems in the future. You do not usually feel any direct benefit from taking this medicine, but it works in the long term to keep you well. You should take it regularly as prescribed for this medicine to be most effective, even if you feel better.

Telma-MCT 50/12.5 Tablet ER should be used with caution in patients with severe kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Telma-MCT 50/12.5 Tablet ER may be needed. Please consult your doctor.

What if you forget to take Telma-MCT Tablet ER?
If you miss a dose of Telma-MCT 50/12.5 Tablet ER, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

- You have been prescribed Telma-MCT 50/12.5 Tablet ER for the treatment of high blood pressure.
- Lowering high blood pressure helps prevent stroke and heart attack.
- It may cause more frequent urination. Take it at least 4 hrs before bedtime to avoid waking up to urinate.
- It may cause the level of potassium in blood to go up. Avoid taking potassium-rich foods such as banana and broccoli.
- It may cause dizziness. Get up slowly when rising from a sitting or lying position.
- Telma-MCT 50/12.5 Tablet ER may cause dehydration. Drink plenty of fluids and Inform your doctor if you develop extreme thirst, muscle weakness or very dry mouth.
- Do not stop taking Telma-MCT 50/12.5 Tablet ER suddenly without talking to your doctor.
