Stride 100mg Tablet is used in the treatment of schizophrenia, a mental disorder that can result in hallucinations or delusions and also adversely affects a person’s ability to think and behave.

Stride 100mg Tablet is used to treat schizophrenia and Parkinson's disease (a disorder of the nervous system that causes difficulties with movement and balance) in whom other medicines have not worked.

Schizophrenia is a mental disorder in which a person’s thinking ability, feelings and behavior become abnormal. Stride 100mg Tablet helps restore the chemical imbalances in the brain that are responsible for such changes. It improves thoughts, behavior and enhances the quality of life.

Side effects of Stride Tablet

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them

Breast feeding
SAFE IF PRESCRIBED
Stride 100mg Tablet is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby.
Stride 100mg Tablet should be avoided for prolonged periods and in women with a history of major depression. Tiredness, headache, and leg edema have also been reported in mothers taking Stride 100mg Tablet.
Driving
UNSAFE
Stride 100mg Tablet may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.
Kidney
CAUTION
Stride 100mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Stride 100mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Liver
SAFE IF PRESCRIBED
Stride 100mg Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with liver disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Stride 100mg Tablet may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.

Quick tips

  • Take it at bedtime to avoid feeling sleepy during the day.
  • Use caution while driving or doing anything that requires concentration as Stride 100mg Tablet can cause dizziness and sleepiness.
  • Avoid drinking alcohol while taking this medicine because it can make drowsiness worse.
  • It may cause weight gain. Eat healthy, exercise regularly and monitor your weight regularly.
  • Inform your doctor if you experience any abnormal or uncontrolled movements while taking this medicine.
  • Inform your doctor if you experience symptoms such as high fever, sweating, muscle stiffness, and faster breathing. These may be due to a rare side effect known as neuroleptic malignant syndrome.
  • Do not stop taking Stride 100mg Tablet without talking to your doctor first as it may cause a worsening of symptoms.

Pains in Knee joint. Gap is reduced. severe pain when suddenly changing the move while walking. Needs to slow down natural stride in walking
