Sildapah 20mg Tablet is a medicine used to treat high blood pressure in the blood vessels that supply the lungs (pulmonary arterial hypertension). It relieves breathlessness and improves exercise capacity in men and women. This slows down the progression of your illness.

It is caused by thickening of walls of the arteries that supply your lungs making it hard for blood to get through. Sildapah 20mg Tablet relaxes and widens blood vessels in the lungs. This helps reduce the strain on the heart and improves blood flow, leading to lowered blood pressure in the pulmonary arteries. By easing the workload on the heart and enhancing circulation, Sildapah 20mg Tablet can improve exercise capacity, reduce symptoms like shortness of breath and fatigue, and enhance the overall quality of life for individuals with PAH.

How Sildapah Tablet works
Sildapah 20mg Tablet is a phosphodiesterase (PDE-5) inhibitor. It works by relaxing the blood vessels in your lungs thereby reducing the high blood pressure in the lungs. This allows your heart to work less to pump blood in your lungs.

Sildapah 20mg Tablet is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Sildapah 20mg Tablet is recommended.

What if you forget to take Sildapah Tablet?

So, when used with blood pressure lowering medicines or nitrates, it can cause a severe fall in blood pressure, which could be fatal. Sildapah 20mg Tablet should not be taken if you are taking nitrates for chest pain or you have a history of heart attack or stroke in the past 6 months.
