Rupakast Tablet is used to treat an itchy, stuffy or runny nose, sneezing, or other symptoms caused by seasonal hay fever (allergic rhinitis). It works by reducing certain substances in the body called histamines that are responsible for the allergic symptoms. It also reduces swelling inside the nose and thus decreases symptoms such as stuffy nose. This helps in easy breathing and makes you feel better.

- Be cautious while driving or doing anything that requires concentration as Rupakast Tablet can cause dizziness and sleepiness.
- Do not drink alcohol while taking Rupakast Tablet as it may cause increased sleepiness.
- Dry mouth may occur as a side effect. Frequent mouth rinses, good oral hygiene, increased water intake and sugarless candy may help.
