How Roxam Tablet works

Yes, Roxam Tablet causes weight gain. This is because of an increase in appetite. If there is an increase in hunger than usual, you can include fresh low-calorie foods in your diet. Any intolerance to some sugars should be told as well because Pizotifen tablets have lactose, a type of sugar.
How long do I need to take Roxam Tablet?
Roxam Tablet should be taken as prescribed by the doctor. This medicine only helps to prevent migraine, it does not treat migraine attack. Do not stop the medicine and take it regularly, even if you feel well.
Can I take Roxam Tablet with paracetamol or ibuprofen?
Yes, Roxam Tablet can be taken with paracetamol or ibuprofen, as it does not interfere with the working of paracetamol or ibuprofen. Similarly, these medicines do not interfere with the working of pizotifen. However, consult with your doctor before taking any medicine.
What can happen if I take more than the recommended dose of Roxam Tablet?
If you have taken more than the recommended dose of pizotifen you may experience drowsiness, dizziness, confusion, fits or excitement (particularly in children). You may also feel difficulty in breathing or controlling movements, fast heartbeat, low blood pressure, dry mouth, feeling or being sick, blueness of the skin, coma or respiratory paralysis. Inform your doctor and seek immediate medical help.
