Rovamycin Forte Tablet is an antibiotic used to treat a parasitic infection known as Toxoplasmosis in pregnant women. It helps to lower the risk of transmission of toxoplasma infection from the mother to the unborn child. Rarely, it may also be used to treat some other infections.

In Toxoplasmosis during pregnancy
Toxoplasmosis or Toxoplasma infection is an infection that can cause complications such as miscarriage, stillbriths and damage to baby’s brain and other organs articularly the eyes, at birth or early childhood or even as adults. Rovamycin Forte Tablet helps in preventing this infection in the unborn baby from their mother, and also decreases the progression as well as worsening of the symptoms, such as eye disorders, in already infected babies. Earlier diagnosis of the infection can help in preventing it efficiently during pregnancy. Take it as prescribed to get the most benefit.
How to use Rovamycin Tablet
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Rovamycin Forte Tablet is to be taken empty stomach.
