Romiset 125mcg Injection is used in the treatment of chronic immune thrombocytopenia in patients who have had an insufficient response to other treatments like corticosteroids, immunoglobulins, or splenectomy.
Romiset 125mcg Injection is used to treat a bleeding disorder caused by low blood platelet count. It can also be used to treat low platelet count in certain infections (Hepatitis C Virus) and severe deficiency conditions (severe aplastic anemia)

- Romiset 125mcg Injection is used to increase the number of platelets (cells that help the blood to clot) in order to decrease the risk of bleeding in adults.
- Your platelet level will be checked for at least 2 weeks after you finish your treatment with Romiset 125mcg Injection.
- Inform your doctor if you have or have ever had a blood clot, bleeding problems, any type of cancer that affects your blood cells. Also, tell your doctor if you have had your spleen removed.
- You may experience joint or muscle pain as a result of this medication. Ask your healthcare provider if you may take mild pain medicine to relieve this.
- Avoid sun exposure. Wear SPF 15 (or higher) sunblock and protective clothing.
- Continue to avoid activities that may cause injury and bleeding during your treatment with Romiset 125mcg Injection.
