Risofos 35mg/250mg/400IU Kit is a combination of three medicines. It is prescribed for treatment of osteoporosis. It prevents bone loss and makes the bone stronger. This way it reduces the risk of bone fractures.

Risofos 35mg/250mg/400IU Kit is a combination of two medicines: Risofos 35mg/250mg/400IU Kit1, Risofos 35mg/250mg/400IU Kit2 and Risofos 35mg/250mg/400IU Kit3 which treat osteoporosis.

In Osteoporosis

Osteoporosis is a common condition that causes bones to become fragile and brittle so that they break (fracture) more easily. Fractures may be painful and restrict a person’s ability to carry out their normal daily tasks. Risofos 35mg/250mg/400IU Kit reduces the risk of a fracture occurring in osteoporosis. It also helps in the growth and development of bones as well as maintain strong bones. Along with medicines, eat a balanced diet rich in calcium and vitamin D like dairy products, green leafy vegetables etc.

What if you forget to take Risofos Kit?

If you miss a dose of Risofos 35mg/250mg/400IU Kit, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

Risofos Kit

  • Take it first thing in the morning on an empty stomach. Do not lie down after taking the medicine.
  • Wait at least 1 hour before taking any other medication or eating or drinking anything.
  • Do not take it during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Tell your doctor if you become pregnant while taking Risofos 35mg/250mg/400IU Kit.
  • Inform your doctor if you experience pain in jaw. This problem may be seen after dental work.
  • Your doctor will monitor your response to Risofos 35mg/250mg/400IU Kit by testing your bone mineral density (BMD). This is usually done every 1-3 years.
