Ribasure Capsule works by preventing the HCV virus from multiplying in your body. It helps control the infection and makes the immune system work better. This lowers your chances of getting complications and improves your quality of life. This medicine is always taken in combination with other antiretroviral medicines. It is not a cure and should neither be used to prevent HCV infection. It is important that you take this medicine as prescribed, following the dosage recommended by your doctor. Taking all doses in the right amount at the right times greatly increases the effectiveness of the medicine.

How does Ribasure Capsule work?
Ribasure Capsule belongs to a class of antiviral medications called nucleoside analogues. It decreases the amount of Hepatitis C virus in the body by blocking its growth, resulting in less liver damage and improved liver function
What are the severe side effects of Ribasure Capsule?
Ribasure Capsule may cause anemia that can worsen any heart problems and can cause a heart attack that can be life-threatening. Call your doctor immediately in case you experience excessive tiredness, pale skin, headache, dizziness, confusion, fast heartbeat, weakness, shortness of breath, or chest pain.
Can pregnant women take Ribasure Capsule?
No. Pregnant women should never take Ribasure Capsule. Studies have shown that Ribasure Capsule may cause birth defects, miscarriage, and stillbirth, if given during pregnancy. Women should have a negative pregnancy test prior to therapy and must use effective contraception methods. Women who are already taking Ribasure Capsule are advised to undergo periodic pregnancy tests.
What if I forget to take a dose of Ribasure Capsule?
If you forget a dose of Ribasure Capsule, take it as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and take the next scheduled dose in the prescribed time. Do not double the dose to make up for the missed one as this may increase the chances of developing side effects.
