Revolade 50mg Tablet is used to treat low platelet count due to chronic immune (idiopathic) thrombocytopenic purpura (ITP) or chronic hepatitis C virus (HCV) infection. It is also used to treat severe aplastic anemia.
Revolade 50mg Tablet is used to treat a bleeding disorder caused by low blood platelet count. It can also be used to treat low platelet count in certain infections (Hepatitis C Virus) and severe deficiency conditions (severe aplastic anemia)

Revolade 50mg Tablet is used to increase the number of platelets (cells that help the blood clot) to decrease the risk of bleeding in adults and children 1 year of age and older who have chronic idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura (ITP, an ongoing condition that may cause unusual bruising or bleeding due to an abnormally low number of platelets in the blood). It is used in patients who have not benefited or cannot be treated with other treatments, including medications or surgery to remove the spleen. Revolade 50mg Tablet is also used to increase the number of platelets in people who have hepatitis C (a viral infection that may damage the liver). It is usually given along with other medicines.
In Treatment of Severe Aplastic Anemia
Revolade 50mg Tablet is also used in combination with other medications to treat aplastic anemia, a condition in which the body does not make enough new blood cells, in adults and children 2 years of age and above. Take it as advised by the doctor to get the most benefits.

How should I store Revolade 50mg Tablet?
This medicine can be stored at room temperature between 20°C to 25°C. Close the bottle tightly and do not remove the desiccant pack if present inside the bottle as it helps to keep the medicine dry.
Can Revolade 50mg Tablet cause serious side effects?
Revolade 50mg Tablet can cause serious side effects like liver problems. The symptoms of liver disease include yellowing of the skin or the whites of the eyes, pain in the upper right area of the stomach, unusual darkening of the urine, and unusual tiredness. The risk of liver problems increases if the patient is infected with hepatitis C virus or is being treated for it. Taking this medicine may also increase the platelet count in the blood, increasing the risk of developing blood clots. This in turn increases your risk of getting a heart attack or stroke and may prove fatal in some cases. Ideally, regular blood tests are done to monitor the liver functions and platelet count while taking Revolade 50mg Tablet. Its use can also worsen cataract, leading to blurring of vision. Consult your doctor immediately if you notice any of the side effects.
