Introduction of Retherma CD Syrup

Retherma CD Syrup is a combination medicine used in the treatment of dry cough and common cold symptoms. It relieves allergy symptoms such as runny nose, stuffy nose, sneezing, watery eyes, and congestion or stuffiness. It also thins the mucus in the nose, windpipe, and lungs, making it easier to cough out.

Retherma CD Syrup is a combination of mucolytic, cough suppressant, and H1 antihistaminic medicines.

Retherma CD Syrup

  • Take exactly as directed by your doctor or on the label. Do not increase the dosage or take for longer than is recommended. 
  • Consult your doctor if you do not see any improvement and have a cough for more than 7 days.
  • Inform your doctor if you are taking any other medications for cold and cough.
  • Let your doctor know if you are taking any anti-depressants.
  • Inform your doctor if you have had a cough for a long time or if you have asthma or suffer from serious asthma attacks, or if your cough is accompanied by a fever, rash, or persistent headache.
  • Along with taking Retherma CD Syrup do the following simple tips at home to get relief:
    a) Steam inhalation
    b) Gargling with warm saltwater
    c) Apply vapor rubs on chest, back if needed. Take enough rest
    d) Take warm food and fluid only. Ensure adequate fluid intake
    e) Advise hygiene measures to reduce spread: frequent hand-washing, avoiding sharing towels, pillowcases, etc
