In Dry cough

Respitus Syrup suppresses severe dry cough and gives you relief from an itchy throat. Apart from this, it also reduces symptoms of allergy like watery eyes, sneezing and runny nose. Along with taking Respitus Syrup, gargling with warm salt water and having ginger or honey can help you manage dry cough.

Can I take Respitus Syrup if I need to undergo surgery?
Consult your doctor before taking Respitus Syrup if you need to undergo surgery as it may lead to excessive drowsiness and sleepiness when given along with anesthesia. Your doctor may advise you to stop taking this medicine 72 hours prior to the surgery.
Can I take Respitus Syrup with anti-depressant medicines?
It is not recommended to take Respitus Syrup along with any anti-depressant medication, as it may lead to unpleasant side effects or drug interaction. Also, it is advisable to take this syrup at least 14 days after your last dose of anti-depressants.
Can Respitus Syrup make you sleepy?
Yes, this medicine can cause drowsiness and sleepiness. Avoid alcohol or other sedating medications, which can make you more drowsy and less alert. Be careful driving or doing anything that requires you to be alert until you know how this medication affects you.
