How should Rectol 80 Suppository be used?
Rectol 80 Suppository is meant to be placed inside the rectum (bottom area). It uses the body's heat and melts inside, resulting in direct absorption into the bloodstream and rendering quick relief. Use Rectol 80 Suppository as directed by your child’s doctor. Before insertion, wash your hands properly. Guide your child to lie down sideways or on the belly. Hold one buttock gently to get access to the rectal area. Unwrap the medicine and hold the rounded end close to the rectum. Use one finger to gently push Rectol 80 Suppository into the rectum. Ask your child to remain still for about 15 minutes as it will prevent the medicine from popping out. Clean your hands again with soap and water to ensure hygiene.
How much Rectol 80 Suppository should I give to my child?
It will depend on the strength of the medicine and the age of your child. Always follow your doctor's instructions regarding how much and how often the medicine should be given to your child. In case you are not sure about how much to give, consult your child’s doctor.
Can I give Rectol 80 Suppository to my child for low-grade fever?
