Qutroy Suspension is an antimalarial medicine and is used alone or with other medications to treat malaria (a serious or life-threatening illness that is spread by a parasite that enters the human body by the bite of infected mosquitoes). However, this medicine should not be used to prevent malaria or to treat severe cases of malaria. Take it only as prescribed and refrain from taking any other medicines or antacids along with this medicine (unless advised by the doctor) as they may affect the absorption of this medicine. Do not use this medicine for treating any other condition without consulting your doctor.

How long does it take for malaria symptoms to show?
Symptoms of malaria can develop as quickly as 7 days after you are being bitten by an infected mosquito. Typically, the time between being infected and the appearance of symptoms (incubation period) is 7 to 18 days. However, in some cases it can take up to one year for the symptoms to develop. Initial symptoms of malaria are flu-like which include feeling hot and shivery, muscle pains, vomiting, headaches and diarrhea.
