Pulmosil 0.8mg Injection is used to treat pulmonary arterial hypertension. It decreases high pressure in the blood vessels that carry blood from the heart to the lungs (the pulmonary arteries).
Pulmosil 0.8mg Injection is used in the treatment of mild to moderate inability to get erection of the penis (erectile dysfunction)

Pulmosil 0.8mg Injection belongs to a group of medicines called PDE5 inhibitors. It works by relaxing the blood vessels in your penis. This allows blood to flow into the penis and produce an erection when sexually aroused. This medicine will only help get an erection if you are sexually stimulated. It is very effective but needs to be taken at least 30 minutes before sexual activity.
Do not take this medicine if you also take medicines called nitrates (often given for chest pain).

Pulmosil 0.8mg Injection is a phosphodiesterase (PDE-5) inhibitor. It works by relaxing the blood vessels in your lungs thereby reducing the high blood pressure in the lungs. This allows your heart to work less to pump blood in your lungs.

Pulmosil 0.8mg Injection is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Pulmosil 0.8mg Injection is recommended.
However, inform your doctor if you have any underlying kidney disease. A lowering of dose may be considered if it is not well-tolerated.

If you take more Pulmosil 0.8mg Injection than the recommended dose then you may experience an increase in side effects and their severity. These side effects include flushing, headache, muscle pain, stomach upset, allergic reactions and vision changes such as blurred vision. Contact your doctor if Pulmosil 0.8mg Injection does not help you to get an erection, or if your erection does not last long enough for you to complete sexual intercourse.
