Proxym-XT Tablet is a pain relieving medicine. It is used to reduce pain and inflammation in conditions like rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, and osteoarthritis. It may also be used to relieve fever, muscle pain, back pain, toothache, or pain in the ear and throat.

Proxym-XT Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Proxym-XT Tablet1 and Proxym-XT Tablet2.

Proxym-XT Tablet is a painkiller used to treat aches and pains. It blocks chemical messengers in the brain that tell us we have pain. It is effective in relieving pain caused by headache, migraine, nerve pain, toothache, sore throat, period (menstrual) pains, arthritis, and muscle aches. This medicine is used widely, and causes side effects very rarely if taken at the right dosage.

Take Proxym-XT Tablet as prescribed to get the most benefits. Do not take it more or for longer than needed as that can be dangerous. In general, take the lowest dose that works for the shortest possible time.

Side effects of Proxym-XT Tablet

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them

Kidney

Proxym-XT Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Proxym-XT Tablet may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.

Liver

CAUTION

Proxym-XT Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Proxym-XT Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.

What if you forget to take Proxym-XT Tablet?

If you miss a dose of Proxym-XT Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
