Pbf Gel is a combination medicine that is prescribed to treat various types of vaginal infections associated with vaginal discharge. It fights against the infection by stopping the growth of infection-causing microorganisms. It also prevents further spread of the infection.
Pbf Gel is to be used as per the label instructions or as suggested by your doctor. This medicine is only for vaginal application. You must wash your hands before and after using it. It is best to use this at bedtime regularly to get the most benefit. If there is any accidental exposure of the medicine to the eyes or mouth, you must wash immediately. For better efficacy of the medicine, the course of the treatment should be completed even if you feel better. Do not use it more than the recommended dose.

How Pbf Vaginal gel works
Pbf Gel is a combination of three medicines: Clotrimazole, Ofloxacin and Ornidazole. Clotrimazole is an antifungal which stops the growth of fungi by preventing them from forming their own protective covering. Ofloxacin is an antibiotic. It kills bacteria by preventing them from reproducing and repairing themselves. Ornidazole is also an antibiotic which kills other microorganisms in addition to bacteria by damaging their DNA. Together, they treat your skin infection effectively.

What if you forget to take Pbf Vaginal gel?
If you miss a dose of Pbf Gel, apply it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

Quick tips
- Pbf Gel is inserted into the vagina using an applicator, usually at night before going to bed.
- Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better.
- Avoid contact with your eyes. If accidental exposure occurs, rinse immediately with plenty of water.
