How Paratuf-D Oral Suspension works

Paratuf-D Oral Suspension contains two medicines: Domperidone and Paracetamol. Domperidone is an antiemetic that works on the vomiting center in the brain. It also increases the movement of the muscles of the stomach and intestines, allowing food to move more easily through the stomach. This prevents nausea and vomiting caused due to migraines. Paracetamol is an analgesic (pain reliever) and an antipyretic (fever reducer) which blocks the release of certain chemical messengers that cause the pain associated with migraine.

Paratuf-D Oral Suspension should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Paratuf-D Oral Suspension may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
However, the use of Paratuf-D Oral Suspension is not recommended in children with severe liver disease and active liver disease.

What if I forget to give Paratuf-D Oral Suspension to my child?

Do not panic. Unless your doctor has advised a specific regime for your child, you can give the missed dose as soon as you remember it. Skip the missed dose if it is almost the time for the next dose. Do not give a double dose and follow the prescribed dosing schedule.
