Introduction of Ofzer-LS Tablet

Ofzer-LS Tablet is a combination medicine used in the treatment of diarrhea and dysentery. It relieves the symptoms of diarrhea such as stomach pain, cramps, and loose stools. It also kills diarrhea-causing microorganisms and promotes the growth of good bacteria.

Ofzer-LS Tablet is a combination of four medicines: Ofzer-LS Tablet1, Ofzer-LS Tablet2, Ofzer-LS Tablet3 and Ofzer-LS Tablet4.

In Diarrhea

Diarrhea is an increase in the frequency of bowel movements or loose watery bowel movements. It can most commonly occur due to an infection of the digestive tract. Ofzer-LS Tablet helps to treat diarrhea that is caused due to bacteria or parasitic worm infections. Ofzer-LS Tablet also contains beneficial bacteria that protect the inner layers of your stomach and intestines. This medicine can relieve frequent loose motions and also help you to stay well by preventing them from coming back. You need to take this medicine regularly to get the most out of it and you should drink plenty of fluids while taking it to make sure you stay hydrated.

In Dysentery

Dysentery or amoebic dysentery is a parasitic infection of the intestines that occurs mostly due to intake of contaminated food or water. The symptoms include loose stools (diarrhea), stomach cramps and stomach pain. Ofzer-LS Tablet helps to treat this infection by killing the infection causing parasites. It relieves these symptoms and also helps you to stay well by preventing them from coming back. You need to take this medicine regularly to get the most out of it and you should drink plenty of fluids while taking it to make sure you stay hydrated.

What if you forget to take Ofzer-LS Tablet?

If you miss a dose of Ofzer-LS Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

Ofzer-LS Tablet

  • You have been prescribed Ofzer-LS Tablet for the treatment of diarrhea and dysentery.
  • Take it at least 2 hours after taking other medicines, as it may interfere with the absorption of other medicines.
  • Diarrhea can cause water loss and electrolyte imbalance. Drink plenty of fluids especially ORS (oral rehydration solution) to help keep you hydrated.
  • Consult your doctor if your symptoms last for more than 48 hours.
  • Do not use Ofzer-LS Tablet if you have blood in your stool or if you are severely constipated.
