It also helps treat loose stools and prevents abdominal distension or flatulence. Your child needs to take this medicine regularly for the duration prescribed by the doctor as that will help get the most out of it. Encourage your child to drink plenty of fluids while taking it to stay hydrated.

How Oflonem Plus Oral Suspension works
Oflonem Plus Oral Suspension contains three medicines Ofloxacin, Ornidazole, and Racecadotril. Together, these ingredients prove effective against diarrhea and dysentery. Racecadotril is an enkephalinase inhibitor that has anti-secretory effects. Simply put, this particular active ingredient reduces the secretion of water and electrolytes from the intestine. This helps reduce the amount of fluid lost from the body in diarrhea. Ofloxacin is an antibiotic. It kills bacteria by preventing them from reproducing and causing infection. Ornidazole is also an antibiotic that kills other microorganisms in addition to bacteria by damaging their DNA.

Though an extra dose of Oflonem Plus Oral Suspension is unlikely to harm, you must immediately speak to the doctor.
